Zoe Van De Grift Bolles is an artist from Boise Idaho and now resides in Moscow Idaho. Her artwork is often inspired by
different mythos from different beliefs and nature local to the Pacific Northwest. Zoe often works within printmaking and
ceramics, with the style of her artwork being inspired by artists like Marc Chagall, Leonora Carrington, and The Blue Rider
group.
Growing up Zoe would read countless books about Greek mythology, this obsession later branched into her artwork. She
grew up hiking with her family in Boise’s foothills, finding a lot of beauty throughout the outside world. Her art usually focuses
on the process to getting a result that can be multiplied. With printmaking Zoe enjoys the process of carving and printing,
especially with reduction printmaking, and with ceramics she enjoys the work that goes into surface decoration and the
